The “REAL” Reasons Why One Has Followers on Twitter

With all the number of followers one has on Twitter, it is really important to know why those folks are following you. These are the few important and main reasons why they usually follow.

1. The major junk of the followers, follow you as they expect you to follow back.
2. Your tweets must be useful for them. They must be interesting for them to read it. You are the best judge. Do you really think so?
3. You can be a celebrity or a very important personality that folks want to follow you on twitter apart from just fan following. For example: Britney Spears, Obama and Oprah.
4. You must have registered in some Twitter follow website and you have got many followers then. Yes, it is of no use and this again will lead to #1 above.
5. It must be a company account and folks may want to know more about your company. They can be your customers, media or just persons who want updates about your company.
6. You must be an important person in #FollowFridays and folks seem to find you interesting.
